Department of Computer Science and Engineering

The department commenced in 2002 offering B.Tech Degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

Currently, the department offers :

Two B.Tech Degree programs:

1. Computer Science and Engineering (No. of Seats – 120)
2. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (No. of Seats – 30)

One M.Tech Degree program

1. Computer Science and Engineering. (No. of seats — 9)

Further in 2012 M.Tech. Degree course in Computer Science and Engineering was started in the institute. The Department is well supported state-of- the art facility and inspirations of a highly motivated faculty. The Department is located in the CSE/IT block in the campus with pleasant setting of a serene atmosphere. Apart from extending training to the students within the framework of the university curriculum, special emphasis is given to further value addition by way of imparting training to the students on emerging areas that cater to varying needs of the industry.

The department is also offering B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) with an intake of 30 students, since 2024. The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning stands as a cornerstone in the realm of modern education and technological innovation.

The department provides and supports high quality education and training to encourage independent thinking and initiatives. A close rapport is maintained with researchers of computational interest in other Universities within the country and abroad. Faculty and students co-ordinate with investigators of available research resources or industrial organizations to maintain the pace with the fast changing trends of lT industry.

We offer add-on courses like Certified CISCO training, lnfosys foundation programme (CampusConnect), Network Training to enhance the skills of students.
