Induction Programme for First year MBA students 2025-2027 Batch
The Mohandas Institute of Management (MIM) successfully organized a 5-day induction programme to welcome and orient the new batch of first-year MBA students. The programme was designed to familiarize students with the academic culture, institutional values, and expectations of the MBA journey ahead. The event was inaugurated by Dr. V. Suresh Babu, Principal of Mohandas College, and Dr. Sreekanth Narayanan, Director of MIM. Their inspiring addresses set the tone for the week, emphasizing the importance of holistic development, academic discipline, and the pursuit of excellence. A warm welcome address was delivered by Dr. T. Sujin, Head of the Department, MBA, who encouraged students to make the most of the opportunities and support systems available at MIM. The induction programme featured a blend of sessions on Entrepreneurship, Business Economics, Business Statistics and Career Guidance.
Soft Skills Training for MBA students
A workshop on “Resume Building and Interview skills” was organized by the Department of Management Studies for S3 MBA Students on 11th Aug 2025. The resource person of the programme was Ms. Thamburu Sunny, Assistant Professor, St. Francis De Sales College, Bangalore. The programme was designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical strategies required to successfully navigate the job application and interview process. This programme emphasizes the importance of a well-structured, tailored resume and effective interview techniques that align with current industry expectations. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to present their qualifications, experiences, and strengths in a compelling manner, both in written form and during interviews. The programme aims to enhance participants’ confidence, communication skills, and overall employability.
Finishing School Programme for Final Year MBA Students 2024-2026 Batch
A Finishing School for MBA Final Year Students is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations. It equips students with the professional, personal, and soft skills required to transition smoothly into the corporate world. This year Mohandas Institute of Management along with the college level CGPC cell conducted finishing school from 5th Aug 2025 – 9th Aug 2025. It was a 5 days residential programme where Resume building, LinkedIn profile building, communication and Etiquettes, group discussions and aptitude essentials were done to improve their professional as well as soft skills and make them fit for corporate hiring.

Industry Orientation Programme
MIM Club Ingenious conducted a two day Industry Orientation Program for S1 and S3 MBA students on 17/10/2024 and 18/10 2024 in Mini Auditorium, Civil Block from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm The resource person for the program was Mr N Sethu Madhavan a renowned Management Consultant
Graphic Design Workshop
A Graphic Design workshop was conducted by Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology for S1 & S2 MBA students to enhance their graphical skill, teamwork and creativity. It was a two day programme duly coordinated by the authorities. The primary objective of the workshop was to equip participants with a solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop’s fundamental tools and techniques. The 2 day graphical workshop, led by Jinu S Jacob provided an immersive learning experience for the participants. The Workshop employed a hands-on approach allowing participants to practice and apply their knowledge through exercises and projects. The workshop successfully empowered participants with the fundamentals of Adobe workshop It was an interactive and informative session The graphic designing workshop Program proved instrumental in equipping students with essential skills for personal and professional growth. Continued efforts to refine and expand such initiatives will undoubtedly contribute to a more skilled and adaptable Workforce.
