- Introduction
The Department of Computer Applications organised a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Agentic AI: Empowering Educators and Learners” from 12th to 16th August 2025. The FDP was conducted in online mode in collaboration with industry partners Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), UST, and Alumni experts.
The primary objective of the FDP was to provide faculty members with an in-depth understanding of emerging Agentic AI concepts, tools, and frameworks. The sessions were designed to blend theoretical foundations with practical applications in order to prepare educators for integrating Agentic AI into teaching, learning, and research.

Workshop on Campus to Corporate
MCA Department organized a workshop on “Campus to Corporate” on 14th July 2025 (Monday) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Civil Mini Auditorium.
The session was led by Ms. Abenaya P, Leadership Trainer, who shared valuable insights on bridging the gap between academic learning and corporate expectations. The workshop focused on preparing students to confidently transition from college life to professional careers by enhancing their leadership qualities, communication skills, and workplace readiness.
The interactive session provided students with practical strategies on personal branding, teamwork, adaptability, and professional etiquette, which are essential for excelling in today’s competitive corporate environment. The program was highly engaging and well-received by the participants, equipping them with the confidence and skills to step into the corporate world.
Workshop on AWS
The Department of MCA at Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) successfully organized a Workshop on AWS on 15th February 2024 at the MCET Seminar Hall.
The session was led by Mr. Blesson Grace Ramesh, Networking Specialist from Networkz Systems, who shared his expertise on Amazon Web Services (AWS), one of the world’s most widely used cloud computing platforms.
The workshop provided participants with a strong introduction to the fundamentals of cloud computing, AWS services, and their real-world applications in industry. Mr. Ramesh highlighted how AWS empowers businesses with scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions, while also giving insights into career opportunities in the field of cloud technology.
