- 4th National conference & workshop- TECHSYNOD’17 on “Advances in Bioenergy & Biomaterials and Advances in Mechanical Engineering & Mechatronics” sponsored by ISTE MCET chapter, KSCSTE, CSIR, DRDO, ISRO, IIChE was conducted on 19 – 21 December 2017. 14 papers which comprises of 11 external and 3 internal were presented. Workshop on “DWSIM- Open source simulation” was handled by Dr. P. R. Naren, Sastra University.

Add on course for S6 BT&BCE students in COMPUTER AIDED DRUG DESIGN- 2021
Introduction: Molecular basis of diseases, concept of therapeutic targets, Drug discovery pipeline, structure based and ligand based approaches in drug design.
- Molecular docking – concepts and mechanics of docking, introduction of molecular modelling, hands on with docking software. Case study with a selected target.
- In silico ADME prediction. Introduction to Personalized medicine.
