Dr. Pradeep Raj R is a dedicated academician and a passionate advocate for innovation and entrepreneurship in engineering education. His core expertise lies in Mechanical (Manufacturing) Engineering, and he holds the University Second Rank from Anna University for his master’s degree. He earned his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering from Annamalai University and has continually focused on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application through collaborative course design and experiential learning.

Dr. Pradeep Raj has successfully completed the prestigious Management Development Program from IIM Kozhikode and is a certified faculty member recognized by NSTEDB, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, and the Kerala Institute for Entrepreneurship Development. As a Top Performing Innovation Ambassador and certified Mentor under the Ministry of Education’s Mentor-Mentee Program.

His dedication has been recognized through several accolades, including the TCS Young Innovator Award and the Best Teacher Award from his institution. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Faculty Advisor of SAE India, and a Fellow Member of the Indian Thermal Spray Association (iTSA). His research portfolio includes 10 publications in reputed Scopus and SCIE-indexed international journals, and presentations at more than 15 international conferences. He is also the inventor of ‘Nirmohi’, a patented innovative wheelchair design created to empower differently-abled individuals.

Dr. Pradeep Raj has successfully completed 12 funded projects supported by various central and state government agencies. His certifications include advanced training in Industrial Automation (Rexroth Bosch), Industrial Cryogenics (Department of Technical Education, Government of Kerala), and Rapid Manufacturing & 3D Printing (DST & NIT Trichy).
