NAAC Accreditation
- MCET applied for accreditation (Cycle 2) by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body under University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi which accredits all colleges across India. As a part of the accreditation process, the college submitted IIQA (Institutional Information for Quality Assessment) on 01-10-2022 and it got approved on 19-10-2022. Then the Self Study Report (SSR) was submitted on 02-12-2022 and the pre-qualifier was cleared on 18-01-2023.
- The NAAC Peer Team visited MCET during March 28-29, 2023 and conducted a detailed evaluation of the college and its facilities on 7-point criteria. The peer team consisted of three eminent persons – Dr. Bijoy Kumar Nanda, Former Vice Chancellor, VSSUT Burla, Orissa as the Chairperson, Dr. Ravendra Singh, Professor, MJP Rohilkhand University, Uttar Pradesh as the Member Co-ordinator and Dr. Shankargouda Patil, Professor, Rani Channamma University, Karnataka as the Member.
- At the end of the visit the Peer Team submitted an assessment report to NAAC. Based on the report submitted by the NAAC Peer Team, NAAC has awarded ‘A’ Grade to our college. The accreditation is valid for 5 years from 11-04-2023.
