In Engineering Workshop the students will be given practical training in Basic Mechanical Engineering trades so that they can know things are being done practically, what are the tools and equipment required for the respective works, the practical difficulties faced in doing the work and how these problems can be solved etc. On completion of the course, the students will be able to take up any work confidently.

Engineering workshop classes are so arranged that each branch of students will get 22 sessions (66 hrs) for doing the practical. The students have to do the practical in 5 – different sections and one session each allotted for welding, smithy and machine shop for study of tools and demonstration

The different sections of the workshop are:

  1.  Carpentry Section
  2.  Fitting Section
  3. Sheet Metal Section
  4. Plumbing Section
  5. Foundry Section
  6. Welding Section
  7. Smithy
  8. Machine Shop
